Philips WAC3500D – Streamium Wireless Music Center to stream, dock and play all your music on one system

Berlin, Germany – The Philips WAC3500D Streamium Wireless Audio Center combines a large internal hard drive, iPod® dock and USB Direct connectivity to ensure that your choice of music is as unlimited as your imagination.

On its internal high capacity 80 Gb hard drive consumers can store up to 1500 CDs. Alternatively, the Philips WAC3500D can receive, play and store MP3 or WMA tracks saved on a PC and wirelessly stream to the system using simple drag ‘n drop selection.

CDs can be ripped to the hard drive, in excellent digital quality – at MP3 bit rates between 128 and 320kbps or VBR and WMA at 16-128kbps – using the Gracenote automatic song information system which can be regularly updated over the internet. For added convenience, recordings can either be made while listening to the CD or at increased recording speed.

The music collection can be further extended by adding the optional iPod dock which allows the selection and direct playback of tracks stored on an iPod while the unit re-charges. And for further convenience, USB Direct allows simple 'plug and play' connection to USB memory devices for transferring tracks to the Hard Drive or direct playback.

Once stored, tracks can be searched for by genre or by artist, album or track names, with all of the information clearly shown on the integral backlit LCD display.

All the music can be wirelessly 'streamed' to up to five WiFi stations located anywhere in the house – all in pristine digital sound quality. The same digital audio track can be enjoyed simultaneously, to the same high quality, in each location or, alternatively, independent track selections can be streamed to each of the five Wireless Music Stations.

And to ensure that the WAC3500 doesn't just look great, but also has the high quality sound performance to match – the center includes a Class 'D' digital amplifier, large driver compact 2 way speakers, Dynamic Bass Boost and a Smart Equalizer.
