August 28, 2008
Berlin, Germany – Increasing numbers of people buy music online and rip CD collections to their personal computers today. But while they still have their classical
Hi-Fi stereo system standing in the living room they struggle to listen to the music collections locked on their PCs. Therefore Philips offers now a simple and stylish solution: The
Philips Network Music Players.
The range of Philips Network Music Players includes three different models: the NP1100, the NP2500, and the NP2900. All models easily integrate into an existing wireless network
and stream Internet radio as well as music from the PC wirelessly to any room in the house.
The difference between the models is in the playback: the NP1100 and the NP2500 can be connected to the home stereo system and it’s speakers via a coaxial cable for pristine digital
sound, the NP2900 features built-in stereo speakers. This makes it the perfect solution for listening to music in the office or the bedroom.
The NP2500 and NP2900 both sport compact, contemporary sleek designs featuring vibrant color screens that clearly display track, artist, album, artwork and internet radio station
information. The discreet NP1100 comes with a large monochrome screen.
